It was March 10, 2023.
I was backstage in the green room, preparing to walk onto the stage at South by Southwest—the largest conference for entrepreneurs and tech leaders in the nation. By all external measures, it should have been a moment of triumph. It was the largest event I had ever spoken at on stage. 

Instead, I was sobbing.

Minutes earlier, my doctor had told me I had breast cancer.

In that quiet, sacred space between fear and faith, something awakened. I realized I could no longer outsource my health, my healing, or my wholeness. I turned inward—and upward. I anchored into God-conscious awareness and made a decision that would change my life: I would become an active participant in my own restoration.

That moment catapulted me into a deeper remembrance of the medicine God placed in the earth and the intelligence He placed in the body. I became certified in herbology. I immersed myself in somatic healing, nervous-system regulation, and ancient botanical wisdom. I learned how breath, presence, and plant medicine work together to restore balance at a cellular and energetic level.

Through disciplined practice, prayer, and reverent use of herbs, I witnessed my body respond. The tumor began to shrink. Not by accident. By alignment.
